Living Rooms in 80's review of 20 works

The living room is the heart of a house. It is the center of private family gatherings and protects the family’s everyday life from various noises from the outside while being the smallest of community spaces. It also acts as an open point of contact with the outside world by entertaining visiting guests, connects with external communities, and becomes a space that manifests the resident’s own imagery to the outside. The 20 living rooms presented here is a selection from the archive of residences featured in GA HOUSES during the 1980ユs, whose originality of design and comfort haven’t lost their luster to this day. We bring them here with a belief that their level of concentration and preparation still hold valid as reference points today.
